Ive just been talking to an old chap fishing across from me who fishes Mollys a lot, mainly in summer. Apparently there are quite a few blanks to be had on there.........

Better off with a bit of bacon rind on the crab line. Much better than feathers. How do you get to Mollys? Do you drive through the farmyard?

Had about 4 hours here today think it could be hard on Sat,(anyone would think its nearly Feb)will need your wellies on its a bit wet under foot, paul got it slightly wrong we need 15 not 12 to have the whole Lake but we will be allocated extra pegs even if only 11 turn up to accommodate the over lapping pegs on the corners should not be a problem I cannot see anyone else being daft enough to fish this Sat, 3 of us fishing today I had 8 skimmers and 2 roach the other 2 had a Roach each but they both lost a carp which would have blown my bits away fishing the method,I fished mainly maggot and worm with a bit of hemp added for feed, think it may be a feeder day holding a pole may be hard work.

Recycling day today bin went over at 4am tins ,bottles every where spent 30 mins picking them all back up and putting them in the bin just a few tins to pick up and the bin blew over again It should be a bit better tomorrow the really strong wind should have passed by then you can get down to the pond with a bit of careful parking we should be able to get close to the water,my understanding is that Oscars is closed because of the water logged ground.you will be able to fish the pole just not at 12M I caught at 5M but will have a feeder rod set up just in case.

It was really good Kel, everyone else caught apart from you and you had the golden peg, out of the wind and no rain, sleet and snow like us that were further round. Honest. At least you got your bag back.
