you may be better trying your hand in the sea, no messing about trying to find out about tickets and permission ect then,
normaly there are harbours and boat jettys not far from beaches that fish tend to live around. you can generaly find a cheap telescopic rod and reel in shops when you get there with hooks and line, then find a shop and get some prawns and such like or even bread,
i had a few fish first time i went to ibiza

You fishing the canals that lead from the beach, under the bridge, to the big lake in the middle, near the large hotel complex?

Loads of Mullet/Bream in there, Bream can be caught really close in. Mullet are further out, you will see lots rising on the top. At night, the predators move in, Leer fish and Bass, not huge, but good sport, you could get them on lures. Right at the other end of Alcudia beach, I fished one morning early though, 4 til 6 before the toursits come, and fished off the rock jetty, a Bluefish hit my surface popper, but I lost it. Also saw a few Dorado ( DolphinFish), however they are out of season now so its unlikely you'll see one of them. Get some pics up if you catch anything. The closer you get to the sea, the more chance there is of seeing bigger fish. Saw a very large Butterfly ray under the bridge at Alcudia beach.

A brilliant and challenging idea is to rent a fishing boat trip. There are many of them in the region. I found one browsing the internet at http: //www.tomscatch.com/en/

As binner says, Alcudia is a great place for sea fishing. I'm from Spain and I can assure you can have a great day there fishing in the sea. You can check some boats on www.tomscatch.com/en/
