I see that you have logged on using the log on details of Alex. If we have secondary questions arising after you log off can we PM them to Alex? This would mean that Alex would have to log on regularly to get any messages which she could then forward to the best qualified officer to deal with.

I think it may be a good idea if the questions were posted in the EA Q & A section so everyone can comment and see the answers provided by the EA.
We are about sharing information ETC.
Maybe the EA could log onto the forums a couple of times a week and answer any questions.
Daz.

It was just that I can see it getting a little messy and fragmented over time thus losing it`s impact and interest.

Daz. i think a couple of times a week might be a bit of an overkill they are a busy bunch, i think once a month would be good enough to answer any questions that arise but deffinately on the open forum so all can see best regards Malc. ;D

Hi- Alex here - i'll answer this as our fisheries guys are busy typing away!
If you guys find the chats useful, which it seems they are then we could arrange these sessions every 3 months or so? We also have 'fish chats' which are face to face here in Leeds (we'll post some details at the end of this session)
Due to the nature of our work, resource available and remit of the Environment Agency we couldn't commit to checking the forums weekly, but as i say are happy to do them every few months on a time slot such as this so all the team can be together.
In the meantime, we will continue to update this website with newsletters about the work we have been doing and we have a twitter account which we also update with our work (@envagencyyne)
If you have any questions that you want answering in the meantime we have a National Customer Contact Centre who will direct your questions to the right people, open 5 days a week 08708 506 506.
Alex

Alex I think that judging by how well this has gone that it would probably only take an hour session once in a while, unless there was some sort of emotive issue which suddenly arose.
