Ive set a method up and a pellet feeder , anyone used a pellet feeder there before? weathers looking poor. Poor aint the word for it. Heavy rain forcast between 12 and 3 with strong winds so make sure you have your brollies with you and lines to peg em secure. Jon

Just to give you a heads up .... the carp finished spawning at the start of the week, problem is according to rob there busy eating ther fry etc .. His opion is to target the ide, his words "everyone should catch 60lb of them" , so fish up in the water - fishery pellets are £2 a kilo I believe. Couple of tips, if your on the back end of Island lake method upto the rope and hang on Try paste on a variety of lines

How does heavy rain pounding on the water affect the fish? Does it send them down or bring them up in the water?

Doesn't answer the question Gizzy. Does it make them go down to the bottom or bring them up in the water.

Apologies from me too. After hurricane Edna had conspired to snap my brolly pole leaving me open to the elements for 4 hours I was in no fit state to socialise. The amount of water I was carrying in my clothing and gear could have irrigated a third world country lol. Tyke
