The pond is rectangular in shape with 10 pegs down each side .The middle is segrated by a floating rope at about 14/15m.Once off the nearside shelf the bottom stays fairly flat at about 6 ft max. The open lads fish it differently subject to preference as a few methods can achieve ton weights.Paste in the margins, meat over hemp, expanders fished on top two up near shelf ,banded pellet or maggot at 13m.Corner flyers and are not fished in opens but are the only pegs a small method feeder flicked to the reeds is viable.Fish like to be right under your feet but although mostly 2-4lb have a chub like tendency to punch above their weight and do you in the roots of some of the trees.Hence open water can be less frustrating.Other fish include skimmers of all sizes and medium ide which can drift in and out of range shallow.Pellets must be fishery own and there is a good cafe on site.Watch out for jacussi effect on the deck when excess fish in peg can cause liners and foul hookers to default.Bites not normally a problem the trick is getting better quality fish sorted or a good rhythm on smaller ones.Rotate a couple of near lines and fish to strengths out be it pot dumping to fish positive rig on deck or little and often to fish shallow ,even freeline. Hope some help enjoy the day.
