The mrs takin me to lake district. she wants to go walkin but i got other ideas cos we stayin on ullswater lake. anyone fished or heard owt about this lake, fish, methods, etc etc

Awesome Perch and Trout water, i have only fished it from the boat with lures but its a water I will fish again we had literally 150 plus perch and about 7 trout during a six hour session including 3 2lb+ perch and trout to 4lbs, all great sport on light tackle  If your bank fishing I would use simple maggot swimfeeder with red maggot and a double red on the hook fished 30ft out to the marginal shelf, you will put a great bag together trust me  |
