has anybody fished any of these lakes before ? im thinking of fishing there, i just wanted to know what theyre like cheers sam

a few of my mates fished it this week when they get back ill let ya know how they did (think they were on st johns lake) i was suppose to go but didnt have the funds

cheers brad. any helps a bonus. its not like you can just nip down and have a look around. i heard the carp have started spawning in st johns so i dont know if they would have had much luck let me know how they get on cheers sam

yeah they just got back today mate rang me about an hour ago
your right they are spawning on all lakes they didnt manage to get on st johns it was fully booked and out of 4 people that went only 1 caught its was a 25lb carp so not all bad but i think he was jammy cos he told me he just chucked out a big pva bag and hoped for the best lol
the other 3 lads were spending most of the time finding features ect with marker floats as they are suppose to be big gravel pits
so the best advice would be to wait about 3-4 weeks till they finish spawning

hi samo ive not fished there in 3 years.ive fished a few of them. go on there web page that should give you some idea.st johns is good and holds some big carp and huge catfish which have liking to halibuts.maggots work well on oxlease but id leave it a while until they have spawned.also zigrigs work well!oxlease is more a runs water.where as the others are a little harder.
