Does anyone know if you can fish the Dam behind the Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet in Sheffield near to Millhouses & Dore? Also is it a day ticket venue so you can pay on the bank? Any other details please send? Thank you, David39
hi it used to be a day ticket venue with some nice crucians ,rudd and roach but the last i saw it had been drained because the base had cracked, then i heard it was not going to be repaired as it was too expensive i'll go and have another look and see what i can see please bare with me.
went and had a look at abbythingy again pond saw two blokes fishing was told at the garden centre that you can get day tickets from the small cafe in the park not sure what they have re stocked with though ttfn malc.
I went and had a look at this place today as it is only 1/2 mile from home, and the chap who runs it was there today.
The venue opens on June 1st and can be fished on a day ticket £5 per person (any age) from the Cafe, you can only fish on the road side of the millpond with a day ticket, or you can buy a season ticket £50 a year + a 1 off £40 joining fee. It has Tench, Roach, Rudd, Crucian Carp and a few Trout.
i have been about ten times as i live fairly close you can get the tickets from woodseats angling tackle shop the last time i went i didnt have a very good day only catching a few small tench, but that was over 2 months ago..
