been to stubbs today and its looking a bit bad very slippery around lake for car started sliding downhill on train side beware sludge all bins full, loads of rubbish around, things left by anglers not good. i think john needs to spend a little money putting pegs safe they all move when stood on, he has removed the rope from island to island and down at the bottom thats better caught 1 12lb 4oz mirror 1 17lb 6oz common one on zigrig one on method using a mix of vitalin corn chpooed boilies and molassas pineapple boilie hook bait. plastic corn on zig rig
tight lines everybody

Glad to see it dint turn out too bad for you in the couple of hours yesterday, trev says john goin to restore the road round pond, and on rail side where it drops off to the stream is going to be made into roadway, this will improve things loads round that side but as you say kez, the pegs need attention and an overall tidy up wouldnt go amiss.... wont be holding my breath though.

It was frozen a couple of days ago, but the forecast is for mild weather over the next few days.

Went overnight last night, no ice at all. Had a liner bout 4.30 in afternoon then not a sausage for rest of my stay. I used maize, maggotts on maggot clip, tiger nuts, pineapple boilies, tutti fruiti boilies and tiger nut boilie hookbaits. All with small pva stick of freebies fished from peg 11 to middle of the 2 islands and above island at front end of lake at the deep end, roll on light summer nights 14hrs of darkness sucks
