Just had this through on email... ;D
Dear Fellow Angler,
We have been getting a number of rather angry and confused emails from people concerning Roger Surgay's "Break-Out” Sale, which at its two previous events gave free entry to his bargain basement sale but is now charging £5 entry at Newark.
It seems that the anger and confusion has arisen because in his previous advertising of these events Mr Surgay announced that he "never agreed with the idea of charging an entrance fee and there will be free entry and free parking at all the Breakout shows" (Angler's Mail and Angling Times features Tues September 12th 2006).
We would like to make it absolutely clear that Roger Surgay has nothing to do with Tacklemania and as far as we are aware his event is made up solely of two traders – his own Used Tackle, and Vale Royal Angling.
I suggest that, if you have a problem with his change of policy, you should take this up with him personally. His advertised telephone number for Dragon Exhibitions (which he also owns) is 0115 956 0783.
In the meantime, the Tacklemania Tour will, as always, continue to bring you top quality European Branded fishing gear at the lowest possible prices from a dozen or more of the UK's top retailers, mail-order specialists and internet sellers.
See you soon and have a wonderful Christmas.
Greg Wimbourne. Tacklemania
