Bank End Fishery Doncaster.
£5 day Ticket
choice of three Lakes all stuffed full of fish!
Had a visit to Bank end yesterday and had a good day.
I fished the big lake Fishing two lines one at 10m and the other in the margins at about 5m Tench and Crusians were the aim of the day.
Started on 5m margin on Deck had a Roach then Perch then a Skimmer in 3 chucks! Had a few more Roach and Perch and Rudd then decided to give other Line a go.
After an hour tried the longer line and had a few Skimmers straight away on Pellet (Carp Vader Schnitzel Wurst) spicey sausage flavored to you & me lol. Bites dried up so switched to double Maggot and had a few Roach to 10oz
Back on inside and I had plenty of fish on the near line margin at 5m nothing on pellet, but fishing single Maggot catching a Roach a chuck with some Rudd and Perch on the Deck then up in the water shallowing up to 2ft Good Sport
Eventually had a few Skimmers up in the water as well
Very good Bites and in quick succession! Quality Roach and the odd Rudd But was itching to get back to the deck to see if there were any Tench or Crusians there
changed rig to fish on deck then fished margin 5m with pellet.....gave it 5mins Nothing so switched to double maggot and bang Skimmers a Crucian over 1lb (always a bonus) and some F1's with a few bigger Perch and Roach.
Not a Fan of F1's and time was getting on so decided to call it a day a good net of fish (as usual at Bank end) alas no Tench but its a little cold still and will be going again asap to have another go ;D
The three Lakes are well stocked with plenty of Carp (to 29lb) F1's Skimmers Silvers Crucians and Tench
If you've not been to Bank End before I can well recommend it theres a shop Cafe and toilets there so the Angler well looked after!
