Paul has managed to negotiate for us to have the whole lake for a fixed fee which if every one comes we can cover if a couple drop out we may have to pay a £1 extra each if we still want it,it will be worth it to be able to have a spare peg at either side of us and leave one or two out, will put rules up on booking thread tomorrow,

I'm definitely fishing now. Gary's fetching me and I've got a new feeder chair that I can rig up. It's a feeder and bomb day for me though- can't manage the pole. Does anyone know, is this the final league match with Poolbridge as the presentation match or does Poolbridge count for points/ biggest fish?

Yes we have to get the trophies and have them engraved by the final presentation match at PBF. Don't need loads of big fish only one I am informed there are bigger fish in there than what the current biggest fish is we just need to drop on one.

No you don't Phil. That trophy's had my name on it since the first match of the summer! You just concentrate on the league and leave the specimen hunting to me.

Just seen the rules for tomorrow, it just says no floating bread- I think they banned the use of all bread on all lakes including on the hook a couple of weeks ago.i e not just floating bread. Also banned hooks above size 12 I believe.

Hi Les, yes I've fractured my kneecap so am hobling round with a leg brace on to keep my leg straight. Anyone recommend a no win-no fee solicitor near Wakey? Might get a new feeder rod out of this one lol!

Anyone wanting a breakfast sarnie in the morning, there's a shop called Deli in Altofts opens at 8am I think. Its on the same main road as the Birkwood turnoff. If you go past Birkwood on your left, carry on towards Altofts and its on a corner on the left, opposite the church.
