Adam , there were quite a lot of smaller silvers on caster other day but bigger ones did show up after a while. Bream etc. masses of bites on pellets , I fished expander and Phil did well on bigger 8 mm , once we went shallow and caught two carp on shallow corn also but on balance Ian did better size wise on worm. No takers on meat and nothing on paste but probably too early when I tried that.

Last match I caught my fish on paste and had my son to sort out as well so missed loads of bites. Yeah I always take maggots to reduce blanking lol

Right on Saturday,i asked about rules all he said was no dog or cat meat No floating baits the rest are common sense if you think should I be doing this then its probably no. The cafe is open but if you want a cooked breakfast you need to order the day before so Clair can get the bacon etc in,remember the food is is good but this is not a full time cafe that has lots of meat etc in a freezer. Don't get caught out by the depth a lot of the pegs have 5 foot margins and 7/8 ft at 8 M. not that I think I will be fishing at that depth for long lol.

The BT guardian is a pain but no different to ringing a company who's reception puts you through to who you want,of course if they are not in not much you can do,sad that people have to have this kind of protection, try 07938583721 that's Steve's mobile number.

Use there nets and there landing nets. But there landing nets are massive so it's a bit hard transferring fish into keepnets.

Alright for you lot, I've got to go and watch the Blades now. Should be an adventure though, being driven close as possible to the turnstile then sitting on the front row with the wheelers! Rather have been with you ugly bunch fishing though lol!

Hope the keepnet are strong if you're gonna try and hold a pike in one !! Had a laugh with my local tackle vendor today - some mug brought a keepnet back under complaint cos a pike had savaged it trying to get at his net full of roach !!! I know we sometimes get on about tackle shop owners but by god they do have to deal with some chancers !!! shop owner didn't know whether to laugh , cry or send for the blokes in white coats !!!
