I've not fished this pond, how wide is it Gents? The café down the road used to open about 08:00 on Saturdays - nice breakfast last time I went in ! Shame they don't have a tea bar on site, it's a popular place - and there's the horsey side as well ! (though they probably eat muesli !!)

It consists of 3 strip type lakes which are joined together at the end the width is between 10 and 13M Max i would say depending on which peg you draw I have seen people fishing on here many times usually down the track.

Thanks for the welcome, by no means a match angler but I do like donating to those poorer than me and I am all in for a bit of banter. Never fished Riverside so it will be a learning curve for me.

There's no pools money Geoff, its all just for fun. So you just need pegging/ match fee usually £6-£9 depending on venue. And money to buy pellets at fishery-£2.50 a bag.

Hi Geoff, Welcome to the fold / group of fools / collection of bagging machines ( NOT ) Even if you are a decent angler we will soon drag you down to our very low standards. we can put a hex on a fishery that can last for weeks.. Rich, if you are coming to visit, can you bring your carrier bag, you know the one.. the big lidl one with the 10 lb of bream that you bring to every match..i will trade you a pork pie for every 5 lb of bream.. The amazing Rach has worked her magic and not only given us the full lake but has also sorted the weather for us.. a calm day with sunny spells , I am going to drop by there tomorrow to check out the pegging as i have a door to pick up in Barnsley OH, and Geoff, no live baiting allowed on our matches... Mick
