I want to buy decent feeder rod, fishing for bream/silvers /chub/tench on river (ouse - semi fast flow quite deep and wide, derwent - very fast flow not so wide ) and on non commercial lakes, one of them pretty deep
I want something that will suit all of those places, i was thinking of buying Preston Carbonactive C-Tech 11-13FT Feeder Rod for £100 ( a bit over my budget but 2 rods in one sounds very good ) I was also thinking shakespeare agility power feeder 12ft for £50 but that maybe a bit too long for some of those places
I never had a good feeder rod before but now that i will be doing most of my fishing with feeder i want something good, i know i probably can get away with something for 20 quid and will be happy with it for years but i rly want something very good so i can get away with using light hook length etc
any tips and help welcome, thanks

Have a look at shakespeare superteam feeder rods. They seem good for the money

They under a ton they are. Or look at the middy 4g range. Heard glowing reviews on them

Preston don't make a bad rod, tad expensive but the Preston Carbonactive rods, are a decent rods that perform fine in my experience with them.

yup just ordered it got one with extra tip for £125, way over my budget but it sounds like an awesome rod that will last and will cover all those venues (like patterdalewilson said). Cant wait for it to arrive!
