Dropped in on one of my old Grayling Haunts today and was appalled at the amount of fly tipping taking place straight into the river from the business's at the side. Going to email the pictures to th EA, can they be fined as they are blatently dumping rubbish in the river. It used to be a beautiful weir pool now its an absolute disgrace. Anyone know who to email the pictures to specifically ? Thanks I cant understand the mentality of these morons that seem almost determined to turn everywhere into a s***hole !

Not only there ferox, a lot of areas of the colne are the same its a general problem, however yes it is a disgrace down there but im afraid to say the people doing it dont give a damn and probably never will. Even if they were to be fined theyl claim they didnt do it or they didnt know they're not allowed or jus claim they dont understand and cant speak english!

Nothing has changed in sixty years, that's for sure, and what would it take to clean up this garbage a dump truck a backhoe and just one person to take charge,,,

Your so right mate, nothing has changed, I can still recall the Air in full flood, dead cows, pigs and dogs, at one time some one's shed got stuck under bridge at Kirki..
