Front pond float only. Back pond float or feeder. No alarms. No surface fishing on either pond. No cat or dog food. Barbless hooks and the usual no keep nets or carp sacks. Last time I was there it was difficult to get through the thousands of small rudd and roach. It badly needed netting. I went early spring the season before last and found the difficulty of getting through the small stuff so bad that I have not been back since.

I fished the high lake week before last ,only had about a dozen skimmers,no carp....looks like they are not feeding yet, more of a summer place ,carp easy to catch when its warm on the bomb ,floating pole ,paste or meat in the edge ,they all work...il be back there in another couple of month

had the ton a few times on high lake - you will catch the carp close in - and i mean close in, almost on the bank at times carp are a very good average size

Your right about the close in bit mate, if your two foot out its to far, you need to be literally inches from the bank.

Hi all, spent the day there on Monday. Nearly didnt bother because as we pulled up we noticed the place was flooded, and when i say flooded I mean seriously!!! The car park was under water as was just about everything else!!! Not sure of the usual levels but even the central island/ bar was submersed. But we decided to stay and I can say it wasnt such a bad decision. The morning was spent catching a lot of smaller stuff with the odd nicer roach and bream. But the afternoon and early evening was spent pulling carp out!!! In total we had 17 Carp out totaling 126 lb. Am afraid to say my partner had the majority, his weighed in at 86lb in total. But not too worry he is new to the sport and now very keen to continue with it!!! Just a note the largest of the day was 9.5lb. All fish were in excellent condition. So all together a great day even if a bit flooded and Muddy!!!

Had an unbelievable days fishing... we will have bagged well over 100lb on the poles between the two of us. Went back and fished the other lake yesterday and had a fairly average day, I was able to pull out a silver fish every chuck but the carp were on the top due to the sun and floating baits aren't allowed. I fished at about 4 inch of depth and got a couple...Doesn't compare to the furthest lake (not sure if this is high or low) :S

I thought the high lake was the first on the left, the small float only one. I've got a match on there Sunday.

Tri star from Bridlington. I think were on different lakes. I'd rather be on yours.
