No idea buddy but let me know if you're struggling to get any info cos an old friend of mine runs the village pub in Misterton and may be able to find out some info if your pushed mate. Tyke

Cheers m8.
A mate told me about it, he fished it a long time ago, called summat like "thanks for the memories", seemed to be pretty exclusive in that the owner would only allow 10 anglers at a time and it was booked up in advance, we're hoping to have a go this year. I'm gonna be at Lodge or Lakeside on Monday all being well so I might have a run over there afterwards but if anyone can come up with details before hand it would be appreciated.
Regards

Reminds me of a place i went to have a walk round a couple of years ago when we went to look at the idle. The place im on about looked abandoned and overgrown, my dad said he used to come fishing here all the time years a go. And he told me he used to stike at bites too hard and just come back with the fishes lips on the hook which he found quite funny. Not sure if we are on about the same place though

Mate has been to have a look today, still a bit frozen and they said nobody been fishing for a couple of months due to weather.
Details: £5, max 15 anglers at any one time, booked in advance. Contact Terry or Carol on 01427-890460 and the place is called "Days to Remember"
We're gonna be booking a few days for later in the year.

AFAIK Carp, Tench, Bream and some very nice Rudd & Roach by all accounts.
As for how I'm fishing it, the short answer is badly but I will be checking with the owners and other Anglers on the day to find the best methods etc.
Two lakes, one about half the size of the other.

Had the first of our booked visits here today, started off with a stonking breaky followed by a cracking days fishing, left looking forward to next visit. I stuck with feeder\bomb on big pond and had a nice bag of Roach, Rudd, Bream and Perch. Mate was fishing behind me on small pond and pretty much had a fish a chuck on Waggler. The only problem seems to be getting passed the Rudd which seem to take every known bait including biggish cubes of meat. Price has gone up from today, ticket is now £6 with Breakfast costing £5. One guy from Maltby had a 14lb Carp out and a another guy had a large Eel, we didn't see it but he was claiming about 9lb, caught on Garlic Sausage. Very quiet and relaxing place, 15 Anglers max per day over about 40 pegs and two ponds. BTW My mate caught this, not entirely sure what it is, I'm thinking small Zander? Regards Attachments:

That my friend looks to me - if I'm not mistaken cos I haven't clapped eyes on one for years - a ruffe. If I'm right I believe they're quite a rarity these days. Tyke

Had our 3rd of 4 booked days on here today, once again the day started with a lovely breakfast and was then followed by a brilliant days fishing. We both had a very busy day with my mate winning with his Carp, Barbel and Tench, once again all fish were in immaculate condition The water level as with many other places is down well over a foot and they are starting to get really concerned, there is no inlet or anything so they are praying for some rain soon. Roll on next month
