Have a match on here on Saturday and would love some advice on current methods as i have never fished it before.

Pellet and Castor best baits at the minute, advice is to start deep for the first hour and then start coming up shallow after that, silvers are showing really well, =>100lb nets.

DOH!! got my dates mixed up...was'nt sure if it was here or Messingham Grange that we were fishing on Saturday and on looking its the latter. But your help will still be valid in a few week when we are on Signal so thanks.

hey up lads,going to grange farm thursday just pleasure fishing,before a match in a couple of weeks,anybody got any info........?

Only fished it this once so am no expert on here but what i do know is its deep. I found upto 10ft and 6ft at 6m so a gradual slope. I fished in summer as you can see above so very different tactics will now apply iam sure. For the record i fished pellet and meat both shallow and full depth and a line in the margin. Caught best at depth with meat over pellet. Came third consisting of mainly carp around the 1lb mark, but up to 3lb. The winner had 91lb with worm. Many may think i have a good memory remembering that lot but will be mistaken........my memory is so bad i have started to document it :-/
