If I understand the post correctly Barney is asking about our 4 favourite baits that we would take on a session. Well Barney it would depend on what I was fishing for, but as a rule of thumb if I wasnt going after big Carp I would be taking Bread, Worms, Corn, and either a meat based bait (either Cat food or a Luncheon Meat subject to the fishery rules), or Cheesepaste.

i am taking with me a couple of each 2 ondex 2 fluro mepps 1 mirror lure crankbait+mirror deep diver gonna try river foss for jacks its full of em and its free. going to p o for licence dont want to get nicked.tight lines all.

mine would be - 10mm source boilies , halibut pellets , maggots , lobworms think that would cover most of my fishing at a push I would swap the maggots for a size 6 Ondex spinner and would have to live without big winter roach ( not that I've seen any this winter ! )
