still be under 40 i reckon he is mid thirty............and i have been doing a bit of research into this water and he hasnt been out for at least 18months now

last i heard he had lost a fair ammount of weight and had fallen to nearer low 30's - but that was word of mouth stuff and i can't guarantee the honesty of the person that told me TBH

ill show you this summer when i have nelson and his freinds on the bank lol
and it that all its a good size for a small lake up this way and tootall ill agree with your mate regarding weight

fished the place many a time and never seen any "lumps" come out but i have plenty mooching about on the top in the warmer months, have had a nice tinca out tho

I know a few people that have caught it, for the last 10 years or so it has been upper 20s/scraper 30.

heard it hadn't been seen since the floods and was probably RIP - lets hope not , not a lot of back up fish in rays - mostly doubles with the odd chance of a scraper 20 - you will be told about the rake of 20s / 30s that came out the other day though lol.

I doubt any genuine 30s in a "pond" the size of Fosters and dont forget many fish were lost from here and surounding ponds during the floods, in my experience small ponds rarely produce monster carp unless they have been stocked whilst already very large.

I was talking with a couple of guys this week who said Nelson got washed out in the floods and Ray found him dead in the field.
He was gutted!!

Redmire is less than 3 acres and was stocked with small carp - believe it did a couple of decent carp though

basiccly i know syndicates who have being there many years and nelson is not alive when the floods happend all the leven lake and ray lake fish got mixed and theres a small ditch/beck and allot of the fish went into there and died DO NOT LISTEN TO RAY HES FULL OF ruomours and says ohh them lads down there had 15 carp out last night when they didnt the closest me and my mates have ever got is 21lb commmon out of there and the last weighing of nelson up to date is 44lb
